Reel Notes
Add your own context to a saved Reel and let Magpie remember it for you.
Add a note in Instagram
Reply to a Reel you saved or recalled and send /notes your thought. Everything after /notes is saved as the note—there are no labels to configure.
Read the current note
Reply to the Reel with /notes by itself. Magpie shows the current note, or explains how to add one if the Reel has none.
Replace a note safely
Send /notes new text for a Reel that already has a note. Magpie shows the current and proposed text, then asks you to choose Update note or Keep old. On Instagram Web, reply with exactly UPDATE NOTE or KEEP NOTE.
Edit from the dashboard
Open the saved Reel to edit or delete its note. Your words are displayed separately from Magpie's generated Reel summary, so it is always clear which text you wrote.
Recall searches your note
Your note becomes private context for your own Recall. If you write “different grips affecting back workouts,” you can later search with those words even when the Reel's caption never mentioned them.
Private by design
A note belongs to your Saved Reel, not to the shared Reel record. Other people who save the same Reel cannot see your note, and their searches cannot use it. Notes are unlimited on Personal, Power, and Creator.
