How to do it

Create the collection
File a Reel with /collect and a name, for example /collect lisbon.

Invite by username
Send /share lisbon @theirusername. Magpie returns a private invite link that works only for that account.

Send them the link
Share it however you like. Magpie never messages anyone on your behalf.

They accept
Your friend messages @magpie.bot, logs into the dashboard, and accepts the invite. Invites last 14 days.

Add Reels together
Both of you file Reels with /collect lisbon. Contributors can remove only their own entries.

- Private notes are never shared, in either direction.
- Search stays personal: you each search your own saves, and browse the shared folder together.
- Instagram also has collaborative collections. Magpie adds search, notes, and actions like Maps on top.
Questions
Can a forwarded invite link be used by someone else?
No. Each invite is bound to the Instagram account you named, so a forwarded link cannot be accepted by a different person.
What can a contributor do?
View the collection, add their own saved Reels, and remove the entries they added. Only the owner can rename or delete the collection or manage who is in it.
