Organize Instagram Reels into collections you can search

Instagram collections only help if you filed the Reel correctly at the moment you saved it. In Magpie, filing is optional because search works across everything. Collections are for the times you want a tidy list: a meal plan, a gym routine, a gift list.

How to do it

  1. 01

    Save the Reel

    Share it to @magpie.bot as usual.

  2. 02

    File it

    Reply to the Reel with /collect and a name, for example /collect dinners. The collection is created if it does not exist.

  3. 03

    Browse it

    Open the collection in the dashboard to see every Reel in it with summaries.

Good to know

  • Explorer includes one collection, Personal three, and Power unlimited.
  • A Rule can file Reels for you, for example every food Reel into "Recipes".
  • Add a private note with /notes to remember why you saved it. Notes also improve your search.

Questions

Do I have to file Reels to find them later?

No. Search covers everything you send Magpie, filed or not. Collections are optional and exist for browsing a single topic.

Can I export a collection?

Power and Creator can export all saves as a CSV file from the dashboard.
