# Magpie > Magpie is a memory for Instagram Reels that lives in Instagram DMs. Users share a Reel to @magpie.bot like sending it to a friend, then ask for it back in plain English. Magpie reads the caption, speech, on-screen text, and visuals, and can turn a Reel into a recipe, a Google Maps place, a Spotify song, a Notion page, or a creator production plan. Magpie is independent and not affiliated with Instagram. It only sees the Reels and messages users send to @magpie.bot. It is not an auto-DM or comment-to-DM marketing tool, and it supports Instagram Reels only (no TikTok or YouTube yet).
